A Scorpio would own a haunted house with an overgrown garden à la Alice Hoffman’s Owens sisters. Scorpio season (October 23 – November 21) is synonymous with fall, spicy rum, hot baths and keeping emotions private. Every 30 days or so, the sun visits a new zodiac sign in a season of astrological energy. Known as a sexy sign (one of three mutable water signs), when we’re in the season of Scorpio we can also be a little mysterious and brooding.
Why does Scorpio season matter?
Diving into the chillier months of fall and darkened by Daylight Savings, Scorpios love a good heart to heart.
The season encourages us all to get something off our chests and this form of sharing — no matter how scary — is what Scorpios use to turn truth into power. Just like a poisonous scorpion, the intensity of living means lashing out when threatened and controlling their range of emotions. A Scorpio will typically be passionate, emotional and quite a loyal friend. This is a good time to reach out to long lost connections, talk to a crush or ask for a review at work. After all, there’s more to life than hiding in the shadows and lashing out all the time.
I happen to be a water sign (Pisces) and have to say there is definitely a mystical link between myself and other water signs like Scorpio. In fact, I have more than one close friend that’s a Scorpio (and an ex boyfriend!) and truly believe our relationships are on a different level than with others. So, if you’re also a water sign and looking to feel empowered — find yourself a Scorpio — or at least benefit from the season.
